Even though it looks too bright and washed out during the day, at night with the lights on, it looks great. I didn’t change any of the interior decoration, because I love the colour they’ve used.
I changed the metal texture on the pillars and took the supports out from the pool, using ‘moveobjects’ I was able to put double height pillars in instead, that makes it look more realistic and a lot less cluttered. I removed all the floating mono-rail fencing and replaced them with glass rugs, I also put the rugs on the roof although I am not sure they actually let light in. The outside was simple, once I’d taken away the huge fence from the front and the fake solar panels from the roof, I could see how cool the building looked. So with what little I had to start with I managed to refurbish the kitchen, bathrooms, his daughters bedroom as well as fix the outside and even add some pricey artwork in his bedroom. However, as always I tore through the building selling everything I could and cloning what I was replacing. So Teodor had no money and as he was on the bottom rung of the sports career, there wasn’t going to much funds available to remodel the house.
My problem with Teodor being a witch was the stupid broomstick, that he insisted on riding and that couldn’t be deleted. I have nothing against witches, I actually know one in real life and she’s lovely. He’s going back into the hospitality business only this time he’s not going to quit until he’s got the land, and the money, and the trophy wife.įixing the house wasn’t really that important, because the fact that he was a witch threw a massive spanner in the masterplan of my hotel mogul storyline. Teodor’s story drew me in, so I am going to use him. I was looking for a single guy that I could play as a resort owner, he’s going to start on the bottom rung and if all goes to plan, retire with a huge beach resort and a beautiful, younger wife. Now he struggles as single dad with no reliable income… will Teodor be able to turn his life around and win Florita back, or is it time to look for someone new? So this is what inspired me, Teodor lost his resort plans and his lover, Florita, to Alfonso Alto. And thanks to whoever built it in the first place, I’ve been able to add new metal, stone and masonry textures to my favourites 🙂
Although I’ve made some cosmetic changes, they’re minor and haven’t altered the layout. I love the scale of it though, and the way it’s been constructed out of shipping containers. I actually really like this house, the huge fence/screen will have to go as will the crazy coloured tree. It’s more about Teodor Medina’s Resort Empire lifetime wish and his desire to own a 5 star resort. This isn’t about remodelling a house, and it isn’t about the family as such.
